DREAM: INFINIKEA
I explored the maze of tribulations blooming in the wombs of infinite ikea one drowsy salted morning with light pools gathering on the floor. Glimmering orange crystals burst from the gashes of derelict ikea walls. A waterfall falls from apartments overhead into the sects of ball pits next to the ikea preset room display center. Plants of many vivid and swedish colors hang from the sandy ceiling. Pyreflies loiter with clandestine intentions and plump and thin vines tumble from crevices of foundation.
During the day, yellow light shines on pristine swedish furniture.
At night, vivid blue light engulfs the store with shadows of light behind water.
People lived in this beautiful and deadly infinite ikea. As this realm of ikea seems to go on forever, with no end in sight, the way out is left to chance to once again meet the entrance from where they first entered this dimension from.
Settlements were erected with civilians from different time periods, with some settlers even being summoned from the future. At night, there was always a chance for ikea natives to assault one of these settlements. Where they materialized from, nobody knew, but we fought back. God help the poor men and women who were forced from their settlements as native ikeans ravaged and massacred them. Some have given up on a way out, but those who had hope prayed. We prayed. To a dimension door out, and for safety, solace, and plentiful divine swedish boons.
I met a woman here. I lost her when I found the exit. Like every other inhabitant of that realm, she belonged somewhere else.
