A dark day...

Hitler Tours New York!

New York, NY- Since the defeat of the Allies in World War II many have thought when the leader of the Nazi regime would step foot on American soil. That day has finally come. Much like his tour of the French capital Paris, Hitler visited many landmarks in his visit to New York City according to eye-witnesses. Although photography by citizens was not particularly encouraged (Nazi officers were quick to get rid of people taking photos) some pictures were able to be taken. In one picture we see Hitler standing and posing in front of the “worlds most famous arena” Madison Square Garden. A place that, at one time, held an anti-Nazi rallying party is now being visited by the very man who created them.

One can only imagine what Hitler has in store for ‘The Garden’ once Nazi occupancy of New York is complete. Will it continue to be used? Will the Nazi’s demolish a once proud venue? If it continues to be used, for what purpose? Only time will tell.

Another visit by Hitler that was captured was a visit to the Brooklyn Bridge. He was not alone. The Austrian born German leader was seen with an entourage of Nazi-officers walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. Some of them were pointing at certain aspects of the bridge. Perhaps to construct one like it in Berlin? He and his entourage were said to be very interested in the bridge’s design. Hitler apparently visited other sites such as Central Park and the Empire State Building. No photographs of these visits are available as of press time.
