che guevara execution

⧫⧫⧫⧫⧫⧫⧫⧫⧫

The original picture was execution of Che Guevara.
I searched the story about the execution and there was very interesting behind story.

On this day in 1967, socialist revolutionary and guerilla leader Che Guevara, age 39, is killed by the Bolivian army.

Guevara was then taken to a schoolhouse in La Higuera and held overnight. The following day, he was executed by Sgt. Jaime Teran, though details of the execution differ.

In varying accounts, Teran is portrayed as a willing executioner or as the loser of a drawing of straws who reluctantly carried out the execution. According to the U.S. Department of Defense report, Che refused to be seated for the execution, telling Teran, “I will remain standing for this … Know this now, you are killing a man.”

Teran saw his face and he said he saw Che's shiny eyes and it made him hesitate to shoot a gun.
He described Che looks so confident and mighty.

So I decided to make the Bolivian army had fascinated by Che.

Also Guevara’s photo in a beret which was taken by Alberto Korda became an iconic image and got printed on posters and T-shirts for countless of times. Although many celebrated his contribution to human history, not everyone was convinced.

This ideas made me to change executor's clothes.
So they are wearing Che guevara printing t shirts.
They couldn't even kill him and they changed their mind after they met him.
They became fan of Che.

KENNEDY LIVES

This is a picture of President John F. Kennedy's Motorcade leaving Dallas Love Field in Dallas Texas on November 22, nineteen sixty-three. President Kennedy is in Texas mediating tense conflicts between the local politicians. His wife; Jackie Kennedy is resting at the Kennedy compound in Cape Cod Massachusetts after giving birth to their third child Patrick Bouvier Kennedy. J.F.K. is accompanied by Texas Governor John Connolly, they are expected to arrive at the Dallas Trade Mart after a 45 minutes drive through the city. At approximately 12:30 pm the Presidential Motorcade entered Dealey Plaza. Shots were fired from the Dallas School Book Depository, most witnesses say they heard three shots. The first shot pierced the back of Governor Connolly's neck, went through his throat then struck President Kennedy in the back. A second bullet struck the Governor on the right side of his head, ending his life instantly. President Kennedy survived his wound and promptly returned to his office, he would go on the win his second term in 1965, and in 1966 he declared November 22nd John Connolly Day in honor of Governor Connelly. He would later credit this experience for inspiring him to mend relations with the Soviet Union, ending the Cold War in 1968 before leaving the office as President.

The original picture was taken from a civil rights protest against the movie "Gone With The Wind" in 1942. I found the original to be very reminiscent of what is happening in this day and age where people from all around the world are in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement. I wanted to manipulate this picture so that it would bring the viewer into another reality where the moment captured might have been altered. Therefore, I added an armed soldier who has his gun aimed at one of the protesters, ready to fire and I changed the signs so that it was relatable to 2016. In conclusion, I wanted to bring the reality we are currently living into this picture by depicting the social injustices and police brutality we face today.
Here we have the epic picture of Franklin D. Roosevelt making peace with Hitler. completely avoiding the start of WWII. we even catch Doves flying n the picture, how much more peaceful can it get. If this picture had Mousilini in it, we could have had WWII and humans aren't dumb enough to go to a second world war. good thing this picture is 100% authentic.

Hitler's Kiss

In this photo, I chose to replace Erich Honecker with Adolf Hitler because I thought it would be thought provoking to imagine an alliance between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. Hitler is known for his ideas of conquering and taking over, so it is interesting to imagine if he chose to develop allied relationships with other countries instead. Although Hitler had been dead for many years before this photo was taken, it is still fascinating to think of what could have been.
However, you can also notice in my photo that Hitler has his eyes open and is staring straight ahead. This could symbolize who Hitler was as a person and how he does not really plan on committing to the alliance at all, while Brezhnev is vulnerable, as his eyes are still closed.

KENYON BOWMAN......................YOUNG LORDS

The Young Lords began in 1960 as a Latin American Gang in the Chicago neigborhood
When the Young Lords realized that urban renewal was evicting their families from their barrios
and witnessed police abuses, some became involved in street riots protest and demonstration.
In  my work above i change the faces to show how life goes on,in many different ways.

Kishawn Jack Che Guevara Final

My original picture was a picture of Che Guevara being executed by the Bolivian Army. I decided to go back in time and change the history a little bit. I decided to have Che Guevara and some of the men he was formally seen with , Killing the captain of the Bolivian Army. This causes a huge plot twist because around the time before Guevara was about to face death his people like castro was starting to call him a trader, so if he would have took down the Bolivian Army things in Cuba wold have been completely different .

Jeremy Lyon, Self Portrait

This is old, i thought i uploaded it but i did not. I just found it.

One Week after the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo;  officially entitled the Treaty of Peace, Friendship, Limits,  and Settlement between the United States of America and the Mexican Republic, was signed, gold was found on California land.  Once a property of Mexico, and now an  American state.  Here we see a group of Mexican mercenaries, employed by president James K. Polk, guarding a U.S. owned, mine in California .

Emilio Campa (final)

The Yalta Conference was held on February 4, 1945 to February 11, 1945. It was the heads of government of the Soviet Union, United States, and United Kingdom represented by Joseph Stalin, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Winston Churchill. The goal was to make peace and self determination as they discussed the re-establishment. of the nations of war-torn Europe.

There was three meetings referred to as the "Big Three." The one before the Yalta was "The Tehran Conference" which featured the three shown above again. After the Yalta Conference it was the Postdam Conference. The Postdam Conference featured Joseph Stallin, Winston Churchill, and Harry S. Truman. Midway through, Clement Attlee replaced Churchill.

In the picture above, I added Clement Attlee and Harry S. Truman as more of a foreshadow for the Postdam Conference. The Swatsika in the back is to represent the time period.

The Kiss

In 1979, the kiss between Leonid Brezhnev and Erich Honecker had become famous over the past years but not many know the true story that happen after they had exchange lips. Jimmy Carter the president of the United States was also there. He had came to meet Leonid Brezhnev to negotiate a treaty with him. At the end of the meeting, Jimmy Carter and Leonid Brezhnev signed the landmark Salt II treaty which also required Crater to kiss Leonid Brezhnev to close the deal. This was also part of Brezhnev formality between political leaders. Jimmy Carter didn't hesitate but plunge in for the kiss which to everyone surprise they both enjoyed it. On the other hand, Erich Honecker watching from the crowd was not too happy to see Leonid Brezhnev kissing the president. I think he just wanted Brezhnev all to himself. The president on the other hand quoted,  "As a politician, rubbish.. but what a good kisser. Don't tell my wife about this." This event was then erase from history and only today people know the kiss as a socialist fraternal kiss between Erich Honecker and Leonid Brezhnev.  As for Jimmy Carter's secret, his wife will never know.

Moon Landing - Erick Arce

The first time a human landed on the moon (Apollo 11) was and still is a widely discussed and very controversial time in both American history and world history. Apollo 11 took place in 1969, 8 years after President John F. Kennedy launched the mission to get a man on the moon. The astronauts that were a part of this mission were Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins. They blasted off on July 16th 1969 and arrived on the moon four days later on July 20th. They were said to have picked up moon dirt and rocks and left an American flag on the moon. The reason this is highly controversial is because many people believe this was a staged act and was recorded to look like they were on the moon. The reason America would do this is because it was in a "Space Race" with the Soviet Union to see which would be the first country to get a person on the moon.

In my depiction of the moon landing, I wanted to make it seem like it was a staged act. The "astronaut" is hanging from the steel structure in order to make it look like he was floating in space. I added a hanging light source to act as the "sun", also a green screen in the back to make it look they would use computer graphics to add different things in the background when they edit the footage. Ultimately, I wanted it to seem like it was a movie set, that is why I added a camera man and also a boom operator.

Apollo 11 Moon Landing

JFK announced in 1961 his decision to send an a man to the moon. There was a space race competition between the U.S and Russia, particularly because of the on-going Cold War. Conspirators believe that the U.S government created the illusion of the moon landing to spare themselves from public humiliation and defeat. They also believed that this was achieved with the help of Hollywood and Nasa. Nasa raised 30 billion for this feat and with the success of the "moon landing" the outcome for Nasa would be triumphant and lucrative. Hollywood, with its aptitude for special effects, lighting, etc would also be contingent in its success. The actual date of the moon landing was July 20, 1969. This was a turbulent time in the U.S and for many countries. America was involved in an unpopular war in Vietnam and the Cold War still persisted. The gov't needed American support and a deterrent from the harsh realities of war which led to the moon landing.

My photograph depicts a staged Hollywood set. The astronaut is hanging with the assistance of cable cords. Key lighting is visible with the ceiling spotlight. A startrek figure lingers in the background just to heighten the Hollywood set. JFK is standing as the prominent figure in this scenario, since he's been suspected of being the mastermind. The panel of people include, from left to right, Jackie Kennedy, Christine Kubrick, Director Stanley Kubrick, James Webb (Nasa Dir.), Lyndon Johnson, Gene Kranz (Nasa Flight Dir.), Soviet Union Rep. The Soviet guy was added because the Russians were the catalyst for this decision.

Hopefully this reflects the many theories and falsehoods that some have speculated over the years regarding the Moon Landing.

#2 November 22, 1963
     Right Before Kennedy’s Assassination

The previous year (1962) it was reported that beloved sex symbol Marilyn Monroe was found dead in her Los Angles home. Supposedly her death was caused by an overdose but the case remains inconclusive. The popular conspiracy theory was that the Kennedy brothers were involved in her murder but perhaps they had something much different in mind. During her affair with the brothers she was exposed to some very confidential information and the best course of action was to take her out. However, being a successful actress perhaps she could be used in other means, such as a spy. They ended up faking her death instead and Kennedy’s wife was in fact Marilyn Monroe. She underwent facial reconstructive surgery to insure no one would discover there plan but nothing slipped under Congressman Donald Rumsfeld’s nose. With the assistance of his colleagues, Dick Cheney and Robert Ellsworth, they organized the leaders of Cuba and the Soviet Union to become in involved in a plot to take out Kennedy’s new spy. Unfortunately, as history shows, the assassin missed his target and ended up taking out John F. Kennedy instead. Ms. Monroe had never been heard of since. Reportedly she kept her name as Jacqueline Kennedy and withdrew from the public view after her husband’s death.

#4 Civl Liberties Movement by K. Walsh

My final project is about the Civil Liberties Movement in the United States.  African Americans were being discriminated for the color of their skin, so they began to protest for change.  African Americans in the U.S. fought to have equal rights.

#6 The Beatles by Ian Michelin

My image is of the famous rock and roll band The Beatles. The Beatles were a revolutionary guitar and pop vocal group from the 1960s. In my image you can see three different sets of bullets lying on the ground scattered in different places to show how violent the war in Vietnam was, and how devastating the cost of war is. Next, you can see a poster of former U.S. President Richard Nixon who helped lead the nation to end the Vietnam War and to help relations with communist China. There is also a poster of "make art not war" and that represents all the hippies and anti-war sentiment that existed at the time of The Beatles and in their actual music. There is a sticker on the guitar that has a black fist that says "strike," which signifies the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s where black people fought to gain rights to equal opportunities and privileges that white Americans had. Also, there is a burning American flag in the background, which shows the hatred that existed amongst Americans for their own country because of the unending Vietnam War and thousands of soldiers who died fighting in combat. In the background, there is a Klu Klux Klan member who was dominant at the time of The Beatles; they were racist terrorists who sought to destroy African Americans and institute white supremacy. Lastly, there is a rocket missile being launched into the sky, which symbolizes the Cuban Missile Crisis and the strife that existed between JFK's United States, Castro's Cuba, and Khrushchev's Russia.
The Beatles played a major platform in world history and were witness to some of the world's most climactic events, those good and those bad.

#10 General Emilio Might be a bit puzzled.

The following photo below of the 6 gentleman are of General Emilio P. Campa and his Body guards. General Emilio ones of of the leaders leading the Mexican war. He and his followers were against the non-annexation of Mexico therefore retaliating in violence. But for some reasons he might be rapping the wrong team.
