The Young Lords began in 1960 as a Latin American Gang in the Chicago neigborhood
When the Young Lords realized that urban renewal was evicting their families from their barrios
and witnessed police abuses,some became involved in street riots protest and demonstration.
In  my work above i change the faces to show how life goes on,in many different ways.
